Ruggedman features 9ice on his new

single titled “Religion” which is set to

drop soon!!

This will officially signal the end to their

long-term feud which began when

rumours started to spread that Ruggedman

was having an affair with the then wife of

9ice, Toni Payne.

As at that time 9ice refused to deny or

endorse that rumour, this led to the rapper

confronting the ‘Gongo Aso’ artist in a

private telephone conversation which later

leaked to the general public.

That single act put a further dent in the

relationship between the two artists. But

according to Ruggedman, he was only

trying to clear his name.

However, 9ice later came out to clear the

air that Rugged never slept with Toni

Payne. “Ruggedman did not sleep with

Toni Payne, he dares not do that,” saying

in Yoruba language that “Iyawo ole ni won

ma ngba’, which loosely means “it is only a

lazy man’s wife that can be snatched”.
