deserve an award this year.

The MTV base MAMA Awards nominees list, had

artistes like Wizkid, Olamide, Patoranking scoring big

as Davido’s name was not included in any of the

categories.

This year has been a subtle one for the ‘Aye’ crooner

and its bothering a lot of fans and music critics.

Davido, who is apparently being honest to himself,

took to twitter to say he really does not deserve an

award this year, citing that next year is surely he’s.

“I really shouldn’t be nominated this year For what? I

got three MAMAS in two years I’m good ! still gonna be

a great show ! BUT NEXT YEAR”. He said

Davido who signed a deal with Sony/RCA records, has

neither dropped a single nor an album since he signed

with the music power house.

According to reports, there had been issues between

Davido and the company over his album release.

Recently, the company finally approved his EP, which

he titled ‘Son Of Mercy’, as the singer is set to drop 20

videos before the end of this year.
